About Us
My name is Cyrus — Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ and founding Minister of the Church of Acts NZ.
The Church of Acts NZ was established and registered as an entity in 1996 as an “alternative” Church, in response to the complacency we witnessed among the orthodox Churches.
After six years of intense Bible study, a group of fellow believers and I concluded that a “new” approach was needed — a fresh understanding of Jesus’ teaching about the New Covenant. This required thinking beyond the normal realm of consciousness, with the Holy Spirit as our tutor and guide.
The “conscious” mind is a sinful mind. In realising that by not acknowledging Christ Jesus in everything we do, we were giving the Evil One an opportunity to manifest his spirit in us — by the power of thought. For without a thought, nothing can exist. Thus, thought becomes the catalyst that either condemns us or sets us free.
Christ Jesus promised he would never forsake us or leave us as orphans. That is the very reason the Church of Acts NZ was brought into being.
Within the following scriptures and teachings are the recommended directions for how we can converse with Jesus — who, by the power of His Holy Spirit, subdues the evil spiritual hosts on our behalf, preserving our souls for eternal life.
Amen.
